Jets' Eric Comrie: Can't end skid Thursday
Eric Comrie stopped 18 of 23 shots in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Bruins. The sixth goal was an empty-netter.The Bruins rattled off three goals in a span of 2:44 during the first period, and the Winnipeg Jets never really recovered from it. Comrie has lost three consecutive games, and this was arguably one of his worst performances of the year. He's now at a 6-8-1 record with a 3.30 GAA and an .886 save percentage through 15 starts. With 11 starts over the last 12 games, including seven in a row, fatigue may be in play at this point. Domenic DiVincentiis is awaiting his NHL debut whenever the Jets want to give Comrie a rest, though neither goalie would be a particularly good fantasy play for Saturday's game versus the Capitals.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Another poor outing
Eric Comrie stopped 15 of 19 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Stars. The Stars went 2-for-4 on the power play, while the Winnipeg Jets failed to convert with the man advantage. Comrie can't take the full blame for this loss, but he was once again just not good enough to get a positive result. He's allowed four goals in back-to-back outings and has given up a total of 14 over his last five games. For the season, he's at a 6-7-1 record with a 3.16 GAA and an .892 save percentage in 14 starts. The Jets sent Thomas Milic to the AHL and recalled Domenic DiVincentiis on Monday, and it's possible they'll give DiVincentiis a look for his NHL debut soon. When that might happen isn't obvious, as the Jets don't have any back-to-back sets over the next week.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Scheduled to start Tuesday
Eric Comrie is slated to tend the home twine Tuesday against the Stars, according to Danielle Bain of TSN.Comrie continues to see the bulk of the starting duties while Connor Hellebuyck (knee) is on the shelf, but the former has struggled in the No. 1 role. Comrie has played in nine of the team's last 10 games, going 3-5-1 with a 3.25 GAA and an .893 save percentage during that time. It won't get any easier for the 30-year-old against a 20-5-5 Dallas squad that has won three straight contests and sits fourth in the league with 3.40 goals per game this season.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Hit hard in first period
Eric Comrie stopped 12 of 16 shots before he was replaced by Thomas Milic in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers.Comrie was starting for the second day in a row and the third time in four days, and the results went as expected. He wasn't able to hold back the Oilers' top players in the first period, and he left with the Winnipeg Jets in a 4-0 hole that they never fully recovered from. Comrie is down to 6-6-1 with a 3.08 GAA and an .898 save percentage through 13 appearances. While the playing time is there, the results are not, which makes the 30-year-old netminder a risky option in fantasy. The Jets' schedule doesn't get any easier, though they'll be at home for games versus the Stars on Tuesday, the Bruins on Thursday and the Capitals on Saturday over the next week.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Falls to Habs in shootout
Eric Comrie turned aside 29 shots in regulation and overtime and two of three shootout attempts in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Canadiens.Cole Caufield beat him through the five-hole to open the shootout, and while Comrie shut down Montreal's last two shooters, Winnipeg's three skaters couldn't get a puck past Jakub Dobes. Comrie has been shouldering a heavy workload while Connor Hellebuyck (knee) has been on the shelf, going 2-4-1 with seven outings with a lackluster 3.14 GAA and .891 save percentage, but so far the Winnipeg Jets have only called upon Thomas Milic when playing a back-to-back.

Eric Comrie will protect the road goal versus the Canadiens on Wednesday, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.Comrie is set to get a chance to redeem himself after giving up three goals on 14 shots in his start versus the Sabres on Monday. Things haven't gone very well for Comrie as the Winnipeg Jets' primary starter lately -- he's 2-4-0 with 18 goals allowed over his last six outings. The Canadiens are in the second half of a back-to-back Wednesday, which may give Comrie a bit of relief.
