Rocco Grimaldi signed a professional tryout agreement with Carolina, Walt Ruff of the Carolina Hurricanes' official site reports Tuesday.Grimaldi hasn't made an NHL appearance since the 2021-22 campaign when he logged seven games for the Predators. Still, the veteran winger impressed with AHL Chicago last year, tallying 36 goals and 37 assists in 72 outings with the Wolves. If he can show even glimpses of that scoring touch during camp, Grimaldi should have a decent shot at earning at least a two-way deal from Carolina.
