Canucks' Dane Fox: Traded to Carolina

Dane Fox was acquired by the Hurricanes on Monday in exchange for future considerations.Fox will be assigned to AHL Charlotte who are stuck in a tail spin, as they have dropped 13 of their last 15 contests. In 53 outings with ECHL Kalamazoo this season, the 22-year-old tallied an impressive 50 points. In the unlikely event Carolina would make the playoffs, the center would be ineligible to be recalled to the majors.
