Jakub Zboril signed a professional tryout agreement with New Jersey on Thursday.Zboril has been a disappointment since he was selected 13th overall in 2015 by the Bruins. The 27-year-old has appeared in only 76 NHL regular-season games, scoring once and adding 15 assists. Zboril spent the 2023-24 season in the minors, picking up 13 assists in 46 AHL games split between Cleveland and Providence. Should Zboril make the New Jersey Devils out of training camp, he will be a depth defenseman.
