    Coyotes' Moss Scores In Win

Moss scored his fourth goal of the year Thursday in a 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres. He was plus-2 with two shots in the contest.Moss has scored three times in the past two games for the Coyotes, which considering he has 10 points on the year, counts as a surprise. Don't let this mini hot streak fool you, Moss hasn't been a consistent scorer in many years and doesn't add enough peripheral stats to make up for it in all but super-deep leagues.

Coyotes' Moss Snaps Off Two Goals

Moss scored his second and third goals of the year -- the latter on the power play -- in Tuesday's 5-4 stunner over Detroit.Well, that was unexpected. The former 20-goal man (back in 2008-09) still has just nine points in 52 games this year, though, so this is more likely a fluke than the beginning of a late-season offensive surge.

Coyotes' Moss Picks Up Assist In Loss

Moss picked up an assist Saturday in a loss to the Red Wings. It was his second consecutive game with a point. He had two PIM and two hits in the contest.Moss has never been a big point producer, but he has just four points and is minus-19 this year which qualifies as a disappointment. Moss almost signed to play in Europe this year, so he may be a candidate to be traded if another team has interest, as the Coyotes are widely expected to move many veterans before the trade deadline.

    Coyotes Activate Moss

Moss (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Wednesday. As coach Dave Tippett suggested a day earlier, Moss is set to return to the lineup Thursday against the Predators after he was able to resume practicing this week without any setbacks. He's been skating on the second line with Martin Erat and Martin Hanzal the last two days, but don't expect any stunning numbers from him. Even in healthier seasons, Moss has never reached the 40-point plateau in his eight NHL seasons.
