Ducks' Yann Danis: Will join camp for tryout
Yann Danis will join the Anaheim Ducks for training camp on a PTO, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. With John Gibson away for the World Cup of hockey, Anaheim needed another body to put in goal, and Danis will be that guy. The organization traded for Jonathan Bernier this offseason to fill the backup role, which means the best-case scenario for Danis is a two-way contract that would allow him to play for AHL San Diego while remaining available for a call-up in case of an injury to Gibson or Bernier.

Devils' Yann Danis: Returning to AHL
Yann Danis was sent back to AHL Albany on Sunday.Danis' third try at the NHL level didn't go well, as he allowed four goals on just 14 shots over two appearances. The club recalled Scott Wedgewood to take his place on the roster until Cory Schneider (knee) returns, while Danis will now serve as organizational depth. Even if he were to earn a promotion again at some point, it's unlikely he will ever gain fantasy relevance.

Devils' Yann Danis: Suffers loss in relief
Yann Danis allowed three goals on 13 shots after entering in second period in a 6-3 loss to Blue Jackets on Saturday.Danis came on in relief when starter Keith Kinkaid was pulled after allowing three goals on 19 shots. The 34-year-old would help the New Jersey Devils put up a fight and come back to tie the game 3-3 until Columbus found the back of the net three times in under seven minutes in the third period. Danis will continue to provide backup to Kinkaid until Cory Schneider comes back from a knee injury.
