Mets outfielder Andrew Brown left Sunday's Triple-A game with an oblique strain.
Brown was positioned at first for the second time in three days and was a candidate to replace Ike Davis at first base in the majors. Brown is hitting .371 with three homers and 32 RBI in 30 games for Las Vegas before getting hurt.
