Mets outfielder Andrew Brown's three-run pinch-hit home run in the seventh inning broke open a close game Sunday at Arizona, sending New York to a 9-5 win.
"Whenever you get a chance you try to do something productive, whether it's moving a runner over, walking, bunting," Brown said, "whatever plus it can be to keep me here a little bit longer."
Brown, who has four home runs, hasn't started since July 26.
