Lambo, who turns 28 in August, this season is batting .255/.321/.384 in 56 games for Nashville this season. In his career, he's played 60 games at the major-league level, including one for the A's this season. This past offseason, the A's claimed Lambo off waivers from the Pirates.
Our best wishes go out to Lambo for a swift and full recovery.
