Corey Hart of the Brewers left Sunday's game against the Cardinals with a sprained left ankle, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported.
Hart was forced to leave the game after a 2-for-2 start. There is no report on how much time he will miss. Even a low-grade sprain typically takes at least one week to heal. In 136 games this season, Hart has hit .275 with 27 home runs and 77 RBI.
Travis Ishikawa replaced Hart at first base for Milwaukee. Ishikawa, who has appeared in 74 games this season, would appear to be the most likely replacement if Hart is forced to miss game action.
