Brewers starter Tyler Wagner threw six innings Saturday, allowing one earned run on seven hits and two walks while striking out three in a 1-0 loss to the Cubs.

The outing was Wagner's first major league quality start, receiving a no-decision despite holding the Cubs to just one run. Wagner was perhaps rushed to the majors, being called up from Double-A Biloxi to make two ineffective spot starts earlier in the season. The 24-year-old would likely benefit from further development in the minors before receiving additional major league starts.
