The Nationals have placed promising right-hander Erik Davis on the 60-day DL with an elbow strain, per CSNWashington.com. The 27-year-old Davis was promoted at the end of the 2013 season and performed well in relief, appearing in 10 games and striking out 12 in 8 2/3 innings.
