Future Hall of Famer Justin Verlander and the San Francisco Giants are in agreement on a one-year contract for 2025, pending the outcome of a physical, ESPN reports.
Verlander, who is going into his 20th MLB season, is coming off an injury-compromised 2024 campaign for the Houston Astros in which he pitched to a 5.48 ERA in 17 starts and 90 1/3 innings. He'll enter the 2025 season with 262 career wins and a WAR of 81.0.
