Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen doesn't expect outfielder Justin Ruggiano to play again this season, according to the Palm Beach Post's Joe Capozzi.
Guillen also referred to Ruggiano as one of the Marlins' "very small bright spots" this season.
Acquired via trade from the Astros in May, Ruggiano has hit .313/.374/.535 with 13 home runs and 14 stolen bases in 320 plate appearances this season while playing at least 15 games in all three outfield spots.
Ruggiano sprained a shoulder while trying to make a diving play on a ball against the Mets on Friday.
