The Rangers will recall starting pitcher Martin Perez from Triple-A Round Rock in time for Saturday's start against the Cardinals, according to FoxSportsSouthwest.com.
Perez last started for the Rangers at the end of May, when he allowed three earned runs in 5 1/3 innings of work. He has a 1.75 ERA in 36 innings for Round Rock, after entering the season as Baseball America's No. 81 overall prospect.
The team has not yet announced a corresponding move, and will likely wait until prior to Saturday's game to do so.
