Yunel Escobar continues to be one of the biggest producers for the Nationals, as the third basemen went 5-for-5 in a loss to the Rays on Thursday.

For Escobar, it's his third five-hit game of the season, becoming the first player in Expos/Nationals history to accomplish the feat. According to MLB.com, he's just the 20th player since 1914 to record three five-hit games in a single season.

The offensive barrage lifted Escobar's average to .331 and he drove in his 22nd run of the season with his second-inning single.
