In the ultimate better-late-than-ever move, the Nationals reinstated outfielder Reed Johnson from the 60-day disabled list Saturday.
Johnson has been out since late April because of foot and oblique issues, but it appears he'll finally rejoin the club. He probably won't see much playing time over the last week of the season outside of pinch-hitting.
He managed four hits in 18 at-bats before going down.
