The Nationals announced that the team has optioned infielder/outfielder Jeff Kobernus to their Triple-A affiliate, the Syracuse Chiefs.
Kobernus was hitting .154 in spring training with six strikeouts in 13 at bats.
RHP Erik Davis, still recovering from Tommy John surgery, remains on the Major League roster, but the team will have him continue his rehab in the minor league camp.
