In what's beginning to resemble a pandemic of sorts, yet another Nationals catcher has been injured.
In the seventh inning of Sunday night's Nats-Braves contest, Jesus Flores strained his right hamstring while running the bases and had to leave the game. CBSSports.com's Scott Miller reports that the Nats, at this early juncture, don't believe it's a serious injury.
Previously, the Nats lost starter Wilson Ramos to a season-ending knee injury, and then Sandy Leon hit the DL with a sprained ankle. Now it's Flores.
Washington already has 10 players on the disabled list, so their hope is that Flores, after sitting out Monday's game against Miami, is back in the lineup on Tuesday and thus won't require a roster move.
