Orioles pitcher Kevin Gausman (shoulder) will make his first start with Class A Frederick on Saturday before advancing to Double-A Bowie, where he'll likely start on June 11, MLB.com reports.
Gausman will throw a simulated game in Houston on Tuesday before heading out for minor-league work. On the disabled list with a shoulder injury, Gausman is being built into a starter after beginning the year in the bullpen, where he posted a 4.50 ERA and 13:5 K:BB ratio in 12 innings across eight appearances.
