Phillies starter Aaron Harang (6-15) surrendered seven hits, two earned runs and two walks in Tuesday's 6-2 victory over the Marlins. He struck out three.
Harang turned in his strongest start since an Aug. 22 outing against these same Marlins in which he coincidentally also gave up two earned runs over seven frames. His 2-0 record against Miami notwithstanding, Harang has scuffled to a 4-15 record against the rest of his 2015 opponents and has given up at least one gopher ball in eight of his nine last starts.
