Pirates general manager Neal Huntington said first baseman and outfielder Andrew Lambo was able to participate in some baseball activities on Tuesday, according to MLB.com.
Lambo has been on the disabled list since May 3 with plantar fasciitis.
"Better days. Able to take some swings, able to throw, able to do some baseball activity," Huntington said. "But to be a baseball player, still not quite there yet."
