- The Nationals activated infielder Chad Tracy off the disabled list Tuesday and optioned outfielder Corey Brown back to Triple-A Syracuse, Mark Zuckerman of CSN Washington reported. Tracy last played May 27.
- The Braves called up reliever Cory Gearrin from Triple-A Gwinnett, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. A corresponding move has not yet been announced.
