Five days after designating reliever Kyuji Fujikawa for assignment, the Rangers have announced that they have given him his unconditional release.
Fujikawa did not distinguish himself in the two games in which he appeared this season, allowing three runs in 1 2/3 innings. His career ERA is 5.74.
