Rays second baseman Logan Forsythe (foot) is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Marlins, Roger Mooney of The Tampa Tribune reports.
Forsythe exited Tuesday's game with a bruised right foot, and it will cost him Wednesday's contest as well. Considering the Rays have been eliminated from the playoffs, they will likely take precautions with him, making sure he's fully healthy before inserting him back into the lineup. Nick Franklin will replace him at second base Wednesday, batting ninth.
