The Braves may be unable to sign Zack Greinke to a long-term deal, but they're still considering trading for the right-hander, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution's David O'Brien.
O'Brien is skeptical the Braves would offer Greinke $20 million per season, a figure he might make once he hits the free agent market.
The Braves aren't sure about the prospects they would offer the Brewers in a deal for Greinke.
As CBSSports.com's Jon Heyman noted, Greinke would like to pitch for the Braves.
O'Brien tweeted five teams were interested in Ben Sheets before he signed with the Braves on Monday.
