The decision was made after Hart played five straight days in spring action with no significant setbacks.
Hart, 30, hit .285/.356/.510 with 26 homers and 80 runs scored last season in 130 games. The two-time All-Star takes on even greater importance in the Brewers' lineup this season with the departure of Prince Fielder.
