Both the Dodgers and the Orioles have been in pursuit of third baseman Chase Headley, according to ESPN's Jim Bowden.
- There are at least six teams interested in Headley, but the Dodgers and Orioles have been the most "aggressive."
- The 28-year-old third baseman is hitting .266/.365/.424 for the Padres this season. Headley won't eligible for free agency until the 2015 season.
- The asking price for Headley and teammate Carlos Quentin remains high, tweeted CBSSports.com's Scott Miller.
- If the Dodgers are unable to trade for Headley, they may consider Brewers third baseman Aramis Ramirez.
