The Mariners have signed right-hander reliever Kevin Gregg to a minor league deal, the Seattle Times is reporting. The team has not announced the deal.
Gregg was designated for assignment by the Reds on May 11 after struggling mightely in 11 appearances out of the bullpen this season. On the year, Gregg has allowed 12 earned runs in 10 2/3 innings.
For now, he will report to the Mariners' Triple-A affiliate in Tacoma.
