Rockies pitcher Yohan Flande left Saturday's game against the Padres after being stuck on the left knee by a line drive, Nick Groke of the Denver Post reports.
Jedd Gyorko hit one right back at Flande with two out in the top of the third inning, and the ball bounced off Flande's knee and into foul territory in left. Flande was clearly in pain as he walked off the field, but the extent of the injury is uncertain. Christian Bergman came on in relief.
Flande's X-rays on his injured left knee came back negative, Groke added. It's unclear if the 29-year-old will return to the rotation with only two weeks remaining in the season.
