Red Sox pitcher Rubby De La Rosa wasn't a factor in Tuesday's decision, giving up one earned run on six hits and three walks in six innings and striking out three in his team's 3-2 loss to the Cardinals.
De La Rosa's only blemish came on an RBI single in the fourth inning. It's his second straight quality start since putting up a dud on July 24, but he has failed to top three strikeouts in five straight outings. De La Rosa owns a 3.43 ERA and 40:19 K:BB ratio in 60 1/3 innings. He's scheduled to face the Angels Sunday.
