Mariners pitcher Taijuan Walker (shoulder) will shift his rehab assignment from Double-A Jackson to Triple-A Tacoma, according to the Tacoma News Tribune on Saturday. He is expected to make his next rehab start next week, although a date has not been finalized.
"He needs to continue to get stronger," manager Lloyd McClendon said. "He needs to continue to command all of his pitches. He's progressing well. We're very pleased with where he is at this point."
