Mets manager Terry Collins said after Tuesday's loss that he'll keep going with reliever Alex Torres in big spots, per The Star-Ledger.
"That's what he's here to do," Collins added.
Torres has made 16 appearnces out of the bullpen this year, including Tuesday's performance where he gave up a run on one hit and two walks in two-thirds of an inning.
Overall, Torres is 0-0 with a 3.18 ERA.
