Last season the Tigers acquired Doug Fister at the trade deadline and pulled away from the pack in the American League Central, and after taking over first place with a sweep of the White Sox this weekend the Tigers have made another move for a pitcher, acquiring Anibal Sanchez and Omar Infante from the Marlins in return for right-hander Jacob Turner, catcher Rob Brantly and lefty Brian Flynn, the Marlins announced Monday.
The Tigers will also trade compensation picks in next year's draft with the Marlins.
