Twins pitcher J.R. Graham was solid in a spot-start on Saturday against the Brewers. Graham lasted four innings, allowing one run on six hits. He struck out three and did not walk a batter.
This was Graham's first career start, and he was impressive. The only run he gave up was a solo home run to Ryan Braun in the first inning. Graham was left with a no-decision in the eventual 4-2 loss.
Graham tossed 63 pitches on the afternoon, with 45 going for strikes. It is not known if Graham will make another start, or be moved back to the bullpen following Saturday's outing.
