Brady got his nine outs on an efficient 30 pitches, a welcome respite from his recent struggles. Nationals' Michael Brady: Traded to Nationals
Brady was included in Thursday's trade that also sent Trevor Gott to the Nationals in exchange for Yunel Escobar, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Brady spent the 2015 season at Double-A Arkansas, posting a 3.77 ERA to go with 113 strikeouts and just 12 walks over 119.1 innings. The six-foot right-hander will be 29 at the beginning of the season and will look to compete for bullpen spot at Triple-A in all likelihood.
