Sisco is expected to report to Triple-A St. Paul to begin his tenure with the Twins, after he previously saw MLB action in parts of each of the last five seasons with the Orioles and Mets, producing a .197/.317/.337 slash line over 608 plate appearances.

Mets' Chance Sisco: Optioned to Triple-A
Sisco (knee) was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.
Sisco hadn't played since getting banged up in a home-plate collision Friday against the Nationals, though he was serving as the Mets' third catcher, so his lack of game time doesn't necessarily indicate that he's still injured. The fact that he's been optioned instead of placed on the injured list seemingly indicates that he's ready to play, but he'll do so at the Triple-A level while the Mets clear a space for Dominic Smith to return from the injured list.

Mets' Chance Sisco: Better than expected, per Rojas
Manager Luis Rojas said Saturday that Sisco is better than the Mets expected after the catcher was involved in a collision at home plate Friday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
Sisco was tested for a concussion after an ugly collision with the Nationals' Andrew Stevenson in the bottom of the ninth inning Friday. His shoulder and knee were also examined. It seems Sisco may have escaped with little more than a bruised left knee in the end, although the Mets will likely want to stay away from Sisco through the weekend if at all possible. James McCann (back) was reinstated from the IL and will catch the second game of Saturday's doubleheader after Patrick Mazeika catches Game 1.

Mets' Chance Sisco: Moves up to big club
The Mets recalled Sisco from Triple-A Syracuse ahead of Wednesday's game against the Giants, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
