Urquidy was DFA'd by the White Sox on Tuesday after turning in a 4.37 ERA and 1.19 WHIP across 22.2 innings with the team. He won't be eligible to pitch in the postseason now that he's with the Phillies, but he could still make a handful of appearances with the big club during its final 10 regular-season games. Venable noted that every reliever except for Sean Newcomb will be available Sunday, so while Urquidy represents the best bet of the White Sox's bullpen arms to cover multiple innings in relief, the right-hander won't necessarily receive a starter's workload.
