Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Ends dry spell at plate
Chisholm went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Giants.
One of the multiple Yankees players who's been using a torpedo bat this season, Chisholm made some early waves by slugging four home runs in the team's first two series of the campaign, but his power surge has since tapered off a bit. He had gone just 2-for-31 with a pair of doubles over his previous eight games before ending his dry spell in the home-run column when he took Tyler Rogers deep in the eighth inning of Sunday's contest. If health prevails, Chisholm -- who has gone 4-for-4 in stolen-base attempts -- still looks to be a good bet for a second straight 20-20 season and perhaps even his first 30-30 season, but he's been sacrificing some of his contact skills as he sells out for more power. As a consequence, he's struck out at a career-high 36.9 percent rate this season, which has limited him to a .169 batting average and a Statcast-measured .210 xBA.

Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Swipes two bags in win
Chisholm went 1-for-4 with a run scored and two stolen bases in Saturday's 10-4 win over the Pirates.
Chisholm stole both second and third base to earn his first two-steal performance of the season. The 27-year-old keeps filling the stat sheet, hitting .242 with four homers, eight RBI, seven runs scored and three steals over 37 plate appearances this season. He should continue to thrive hitting in the middle of a loaded Yankees lineup.

Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Adds another homer to fast start
Chisholm went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and a stolen base in Thursday's 9-7 win over Arizona.
Chisholm took Diamondbacks right-hander Merrill Kelly deep for a two-run shot in the fourth inning, which helped chase the struggling righty from the game. The speedy 27-year-old slugger now has four homers -- tied for third in the majors -- through six games for a fast start to 2025, hitting .292 with eight RBI, six runs scored and one stolen base over 24 at-bats.

Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Homers twice, drives in five
Chisholm went 3-for-4 with two home runs, five RBI and an additional run scored during Sunday's 12-3 win over the Brewers.
After delivering his first homer of the season during Saturday's 20-9 blowout, Chisholm continued the power display Sunday with two more long balls. The 27-year-old went 0-for-3 with a walk Opening Day but has now reached base six times with six RBI and five runs over the past two contests.

Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Launches first long ball of season
Chisholm went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run in Saturday's 20-9 victory versus Milwaukee.
The Yankees set a franchise record with nine home runs in the rout, and Chisholm got in on the action with a 442-foot solo blast in the third inning. The veteran slugger slotted into the cleanup spot but mostly came up with the bases empty since Aaron Judge blasted three homers one spot ahead of him in the lineup. Chisholm's big performance followed an 0-for-3, two-strikeout performance in New York's season opener.

Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Displays power, speed in spring win
Chisholm went 2-for-3 with a home run, three total RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's Grapefruit League victory against Philadelphia.
Chisholm is slashing just .179/.273/.359 this spring, but he reminded Yankees fans (and fantasy managers) of his dynamic skill set with a two-run homer and a swipe of second base Wednesday. The 27-year-old posted career highs with 24 long balls and 40 thefts last season, and he will look to build upon those numbers in his first full campaign with New York in 2025. Chisholm is slated to be the Yankees' primary second baseman, and he's a candidate to bat leadoff for the team this year after hitting mostly in the middle of the order following his trade to New York last season.
