  • Yankees' McKinley Moore: Sticks in organization

Moore cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday. The 25-year-old was designated for assignment Tuesday but didn't garner interest on the waiver wire, so he'll remain in the organization. Moore missed the start of the season with a knee injury and has given up two runs over two-thirds of an inning in two appearances at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

  • Yankees' McKinley Moore: Designated for assignment

Moore was designated for assignment by the Yankees on Thursday. He's losing his spot on the 40-man roster in favor of Michael Tonkin, who was claimed off waivers. Moore missed the first couple weeks of this season with a knee injury and since returning has allowed two runs with a 1:6 K:BB over two-thirds of an inning. The 25-year-old has missed a ton of bats in the minors in the past, so even with his current struggles he could receive interest via trade or waivers.

  • Yankees' McKinley Moore: Activated, optioned to Triple-A

The Yankees reinstated Moore (knee) from the 15-day injured list Saturday and optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Moore was unable to pitch during spring training as a result of right knee bursitis, and he has been on the injured list since Opening Day. Now fully recovered, Moore will serve as organizational depth in Triple-A, where he turned in a 1.38 ERA and 1.69 WHIP in 13 innings last season as part of the Phillies' farm system.

  • Yankees' McKinley Moore: Goes on IL with knee injury

The Yankees placed Moore on the 15-day injured list Thursday with right knee bursitis. Moore didn't pitch this spring because of the injury, and it's not clear how long he might be out. The Yankees claimed the right-handed reliever off waivers from the Phillies back in February.

  • Phillies' McKinley Moore: Designated for assignment

The Phillies designated Moore for assignment Wednesday. Moore will lose his spot on Philadelphia's 40-man roster as a result of Spencer Turnbull officially signing with the club Wednesday. Moore appeared in three games for the Phillies last season, surrendering seven earned runs in 3.1 innings while striking out two batters and walking five. He found consistent success in the minor leagues, however, making it possible another team gives him a look off the waiver wire.

  • Phillies' McKinley Moore: Selected to MLB roster

Moore had his contract selected by the Phillies on Tuesday. The 24-year-old right-hander is joining the Phillies' bullpen mix ahead of Tuesday night's game at Yankee Stadium, replacing Yunior Marte. Moore will be making his MLB debut whenever he makes his first appearance for the reigning NL champs.
