Angels' Jo Adell: Belts homer in loss
Adell went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 9-3 loss to the Athletics.
Adell had gone 15 games without a homer before his long ball in the fifth inning. In that span, he still hit .266 with six doubles, though he added just four RBI and a 3:15 BB:K. The outfielder has held onto a starting role in right field for much of this season. He's batting .247 with a .681 OPS, 11 homers, 43 RBI, 38 runs scored and three stolen bases over 82 contests.

Angels' Jo Adell: Handed day off Wednesday
Adell is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Orioles, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Manager Kurt Suzuki will give Adell and shortstop Zach Neto breathers for the matinee contest after both players started in every game dating back to June 5. Wade Meckler will shift over from his usual spot in left field to cover right field in Adell's stead.

Angels' Jo Adell: Racks up four more hits
Adell went 4-for-5 with a double and three runs scored in Saturday's 8-0 win over the Rays.
This was Adell's second four-hit effort in June. The outfielder has gone 14-for-45 (.311) this month, though just three of those knocks have gone for extra bases. That's still a lot better than his .249 batting average on the year. For the season, Adell has added a .685 OPS, 10 home runs, 10 doubles, three stolen bases, 39 RBI and 33 runs scored over 71 contests. He continues to play consistently with the ability to chip in a little bit across the board, though he's well behind the power pace that saw him hit 37 homers last year.

Angels' Jo Adell: Goes deep in four-hit effort
Adell went 4-for-5 with a two-run home run and two additional runs scored in Sunday's 13-5 victory over the Dodgers.
Adell logged a season high with four knocks, highlighted by a monstrous two-run homer to extend the Angels' lead in the seventh inning. It marked the outfielder's first multi-hit performance since May 20, as he entered Sunday hitting .155 across his previous 15 appearances. On the year, Adell is slashing .243/.283/.392 with 10 homers, 37 RBI, 26 runs and three stolen bases across 66 games.

Angels' Jo Adell: Clubs ninth homer
Adell went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 14-3 victory versus the Rays.
Adell made the most of his lone hit, clobbering a 431-foot, three-run homer to center field in the ninth inning. The veteran outfielder has been all-or-nothing at the plate of late -- over his past 10 games, he's batting just 7-for-40 with 11 strikeouts and no walks but has three homers and two doubles. Adell hit a career-high 37 long balls last season but is well off that pace in 2026 with nine homers through 59 contests.

Angels' Jo Adell: Slugs eighth homer
Adell went 1-for-5 with a solo home run against the Tigers in a 10-6 victory Tuesday.
Adell fanned three times in the contest, but he made his mark with a solo homer to left field in the fourth inning. Punchouts have been a problem for Adell of late -- over his past 12 games, he has a 32.7 percent strikeout rate and has drawn just two walks while batting .133 (6-for-45). Still, Adell's overall 24.0 percent strikeout rate through 55 contests is on pace to be the second-best mark of his career, and he's recorded eight homers, 29 RBI, 19 runs and two stolen bases along with a .245/.293/.392 slash line.

Angels' Jo Adell: Homer, double in loss
Adell went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Wednesday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Athletics.
Adell has gone just 10-for-41 (.244) over his last 12 games, but eight of his hits in that span (three homers, five doubles) have gone for extra bases. In terms of pop, he's doing about as well as anyone in the Angels' lineup. The veteran outfielder is hitting .255 with a .701 OPS, seven homers, 28 RBI, 17 runs scored, seven doubles and two stolen bases over 50 contests. That said, he's unlikely to come anywhere near his 37-homer, 98-RBI campaign from 2025.

Angels' Jo Adell: Goes deep twice Sunday
Adell went 3-for-4 with a double and two solo home runs during the Angels' 6-1 win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.
Adell logged a career-high 37 home runs during the 2025 season but was sitting at just four long balls heading into Sunday's contest. He cracked solo home runs off Eric Lauer in both the sixth and ninth frames, marking Adell's first multi-homer game since Aug. 19. Although he's taken a slight step back in the power department, Adell has a .314 OBP in 172 plate appearances, which is slightly higher than last season (.293 across 573 plate appearances).

Angels' Jo Adell: Three-hit effort in win
Adell went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Mets.
Adell got the scoring started with a single in the first inning while posting his second three-hit effort of the season. It was a nice bounce back after his modest seven-game hitting streak was snapped Friday, and the 27-year-old has now hit safely in nine of his past 11 games overall. For the year, he's slashing .268/.306/.370 with four home runs, 20 RBI, 14 runs scored and two steals across 147 plate appearances.

Angels' Jo Adell: Launches long ball Saturday
Adell went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss to the Royals.
Adell accounted for the only Angels run with a solo shot to center field in the fourth inning. The homer also extended the outfielder's streak of producing an RBI to three games. Adell isn't on pace to approach the career-high 37 long balls he hit last season, as he's gone deep a modest four times through 28 contests this year. However, he's shown improvement in other areas, as his .265 batting average is on pace to be a career-best mark, and his 19.8 percent strikeout rate would easily be the lowest of his career.

Angels' Jorge Soler: Batting cleanup in return
Soler will start at designated hitter and bat cleanup in Sunday's game against the Padres.
After completing his four-game suspension Saturday, Soler will slot back into his typical spot in the heart of the Angels lineup for the series finale. Jo Adell will move down to the No. 6 spot in the order after occupying the cleanup spot during three of the four games that Soler was out.
