The Brewers acquired Crow (elbow) from the Mets on Wednesday in exchange for Adrian Houser and Tyrone Taylor, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Crow underwent Tommy John surgery this past August and will likely miss the entire 2024 campaign. Selected in the 28th round of the 2019 MLB Draft out of a high school in Georgia, the right-hander owns a career 4.33 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 221:70 K:BB in 214.1 minor-league innings.

Crow recently underwent Tommy John surgery on his injured right elbow, Sam Dykstra of MiLB.com reports.
Crow -- who was acquired from the Angels in the Eduardo Escobar trade -- hasn't pitched since late April due to his elbow issue and evidently at some point the decision was made to have surgery. The 22-year-old might not get back on a mound again until 2025.

Crow landed on the Double-A Rocket City injured list May 12 after turning in a 1.88 ERA, 0.62 WHIP and 31:6 K:BB in 24 innings over his first four starts with the affiliate. The 23-year-old remains without a definitive timeline to make his debut with the Mets' Double-A affiliate in Binghamton, but he's reportedly been able to throw bullpen sessions of late.

Crow (undisclosed) and Landon Marceaux were acquired by the Mets from the Angels on Friday in the trade for Eduardo Escobar.
Crow has not been able to pitch for Double-A Rocket City since the end of April because of an undisclosed injury, but he had a 1.88 ERA in four starts with a 31:6 K:BB prior to being placed on the 7-day injured list. The right-hander was drafted in the 19th round out of Kennesaw State by the Angels in 2019, and he has a chance to develop into a rotation option thanks to a five-pitch mix and the ability to land those pitches for strikes.

Crow spent the 2022 season in Double-A with Rocket City, posting a 4.85 ERA and 1.31 WHIP over 24 appearances (23 starts) spanning 128 innings. He likely will be a part of Triple-A Salt Lake's rotation in 2023.
