Diamondbacks' Connor Kaiser: Invited to D-backs' camp
Rotowire
Kaiser signed a minor-league contract with the Diamondbacks on Friday and received an invitation to spring training.
Kaiser spent all of 2024 with the Rockies' Triple-A affiliate, where he slashed .221/.343/.339 across 347 plate appearances. While he'll have an opportunity to play with the Diamondbacks in spring training, the 27-year-old infielder seems destined to begin the 2025 season with Triple-A Reno.

Rockies' Connor Kaiser: Moves to MiLB camp
Rotowire
The Rockies reassigned Kaiser to minor-league camp Sunday.
Kaiser reached the big leagues for the first time in 2023, logging four plate appearances over three games with Colorado. The 27-year-old infielder was moved off the Rockies' 40-man roster last July and was attending camp as a non-roster invitee, but he wasn't a serious candidate to be included on Colorado's Opening Day roster. He'll likely begin the 2024 campaign at Triple-A Albuquerque.

Rockies' Connor Kaiser: Gets first MLB call-up
Rotowire
The Rockies selected Kaiser's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday. He'll start at shortstop and bat ninth in the Rockies' series opener in Cincinnati.
The 26-year-old will reach the big leagues for the first time in his career, joining the Rockies' 26-man active roster to provide added depth in the infield while shortstop Ezequiel Tovar (personal) is on the paternity list. Colorado will most likely send Kaiser back to Triple-A on Friday, when Tovar presumably rejoins the team for the start of a homestand.
