Todd Rosiak@Todd_Rosiak2M agoA beatdown this one was, as the Brewers pummel the Cardinals, 10-2, to assure themselves a series victory with two games to go. Quite the debut for Luis Lara and quite the effort by Robert Gasser. -
Adam McCalvy@AdamMcCalvy8M agoJackson Chourio batted left handed with the Brewers leading, 10-2, in the ninth inning. He flew out to deep center. -

Todd Rosiak@Todd_Rosiak15M agoRobert Gasser records the first out of the eighth, then plunks Jimmy Crooks. Pat Murphy feels good enough to make the trek out to the mound to remove the left-hander, who receives a robust ovation from the large Brewers contingent that's on hand. -
Todd Rosiak@Todd_Rosiak21M agoAll it takes to shut down this Brewers juggernaut is former Milwaukee Milkman and current Cardinals outfielder-infielder Bryan Torres, who tosses a hitless eighth. -

Todd Rosiak@Todd_Rosiak32M agoSeven different players have driven in runs tonight and the Brewers have reached double digits in tallies for the first time since that football game against the A's in Las Vegas on June 8. -
Todd Rosiak@Todd_Rosiak45M agoFinally, the Brewers are stepping on an opponent's throat. With the bases loaded and one out, Gary Sanchez lines a two-run single to left-center to up the lead to 7-2. -
Todd Rosiak@Todd_Rosiak1H agoOne of those runs comes back the Brewers' way rather quicky as Joey Ortiz blasts a leadoff homer out to left-center in the seventh. Fifth hit on the day for him, second XBH and second RBI in the two games.
