Make that three surgeries in eight days.
The New Orleans Hornets announced on Saturday that Lopez, acquired from the Phoenix in a three-team sign-and-trade in July, underwent successful surgery to repair a tear of the medial meniscus in his left knee.
New Orleans expects Lopez to be ready for fall training camp.
Lopez becomes the third Hornet to undergo surgery in little more than a week. 2012 lottery pick Austin Rivers underwent surgery on his ankle to treat bone spurs while guard Xavier Henry also underwent arthroscopic knee surgery.
Lopez, 24, averaged 5.8 points and 3.3 rebounds during four years with the Suns.
