Lakers guard Steve Nash out at least a week with non-displaced fibula fracture

According to the Lakers, Steve Nash has a non-displaced fracture in the head of his left fibula that will cause him to miss at least a week of action.

The Lakers are in an 0-3 hole, and now they have even more bad news. According to the team, Steve Nash has a non-displaced fracture in the head of his left fibula that will cause him to miss at least a week of action.

Nash, 38, injured the knee on Wednesday against the Trail Blazers when his left shin was accidentally kicked.

Without Nash, the Lakers turn to Steve Blake, a capable backup, and will give minutes to second-year player Darius Morris. But it's the bad news on top of the struggles that must be upsetting for the Lakers.

For any other team, you'd say for Nash to take his time and ease back. But with Mike Brown's seat warming up and blood in the water, the Lakers don't seem to have a lot of time to get things right.
