Dwyane Wade had himself a night in his debut with the Chicago Bulls on Thursday. Unfortunately, it also cost him $25,000.
Wade hit a dagger three with less than 30 seconds left on the clock and in sheer jubilation, celebrated by pretending to slash his throat, signifying that the Celtics had lost.
The NBA announced on Friday, that Wade's gesture was "inappropriate" and fined him $25,000. Wade was well aware that the fine was coming and apologized on Twitter earlier in the day.
I wanna apologize to my young fans on my gesture at the end of last nights game. I was caught up in the emotions of my first game at home.

Wade and the Bulls will look to build on their strong season-opening performance on Friday against the Indiana Pacers.
