Bojan Bogdanovic's time in Washington was short-lived.
After the Washington Wizards acquired him from Brookyln at the trade deadline last season in exchange for Andrew Nicholson and a first-round pick, which they had to include in order for the Nets to eat Nicholson's money, the Wizards decided to renounce Bogdanovic, making him a free agent.
His time on the free-agent market was even shorter than his time in Washington as the Indiana Pacers moved in quickly Friday to work up a two-year, $21M deal, the second year of which will be just partially guaranteed.

The swingman was impressive during the end of the regular season with the Wizards, but didn't do much to help their playoff hopes, as he struggled to stay on the court at the end of their second-round series against the Celtics, scoring just 15 points in the final three games.
By deciding to pass on making an offer for Bogdanovic, the Wizards are now clear to match the max offer sheet that the Brooklyn Nets made to Otto Porter.

The 28-year-old will bring some solid outside shooting to the Pacers as they continue to revamp their roster on the fly after the Paul George trade.
