Dwyane Wade made his return debut for the Heat late in the first quarter. The Miami crowd, of course, went nuts. Every time he touched the ball, fans lost their minds and any play he made was met with huge applause. It was a great moment for an NBA legend that is going to have his number retired in Miami someday.

- Rodney Hood, George Hill, Larry Nance Jr., and Jordan Clarkson were all ruled out Friday as they transitioned to the Cavaliers post-trade.
- Clippers' Austin Rivers returned from an ankle injury and scored 16 in the win over the Pistons.
- Jameer Nelson was available for the Pistons after being traded to Detroit on deadline day but did not play.
- Jeremy Lin reportedly opted in with his player option and will make $12.5 million next season.
- Devin Booker did not practice while he still deals with a hip injury.
- Isaiah Thomas is expected to make his Lakers debut Saturday.
- Brandan Wright was bought out by the Grizzlies and will reportedly sign with the Rockets.
