On draft night, the Chicago Bulls acquired Doug McDermott for the 16th pick, which ended up being Jusuf Nurkic, and the 19th pick, which ended up being Gary Harris. As part of the deal, the Bulls also confusingly took the contract of Anthony Randolph, even though it didn't seem like he fit onto the roster. Less than a month later, they're reportedly giving up picks in order to offload him onto another team.
Sam Amick of USA Today is reporting the Bulls will send Randolph and two second round picks to the Orlando Magic in an effort shed salary. Keep in mind, it's a salary they never needed to take on. Randolph is expected to be waived by the Magic.

Randolph was signed by the Nuggets in 2012, joining his fourth team in six seasons. Last season, he averaged 4.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in 12.3 minutes. He played in 43 games for Denver, starting five of them. McDermott is now essentially worth two first round picks and three second round picks, based on the Bulls' moves. No pressure.
